Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Bintex Laboratory ("BINTEX", "we", "us") governing your use of bintex.life and any related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, running a query, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.

If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. The Service is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly accept registrations from them.

You must not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions, are located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or are listed on any restricted-party list under applicable export-control law.

Accuracy. Provide accurate information when registering and keep it current.

Security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at ahmad@bintex.life if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits, free-tier quotas, or suspensions.

Free tier. A limited free tier is available. We may change limits at any time and will give reasonable notice if we lower them materially.

Paid plans. Pro is offered on a monthly or annual subscription. Pricing is shown at /pricing at the time of purchase and on your billing receipt.

Auto-renewal disclosure. Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period for another period of the same length, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You authorize us (via our payment processor Lemon Squeezy) to charge your payment method for each renewal. You can cancel any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. No further charges will occur after cancellation.

Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect. If you don't agree, cancel before the change is applied.

Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law (for example, the UK and EU statutory right to cancel within 14 days of first purchase, unless you've already started consuming the Service in that window). To request a refund, email ahmad@bintex.life.

Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which our payment processor calculates and adds at checkout.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may downgrade your plan to free until payment is resolved.

You agree not to use the Service to research, plan, develop, or facilitate any of the following:

• Weapons of mass destruction. Synthesis, acquisition, weaponization, or operational planning of biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear weapons.
• Dangerous-substance synthesis. Production routes for controlled substances, poisons, or compounds whose primary use is to cause harm.
• Export-controlled work. Activity that violates the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the EU Dual-Use Regulation, the UK Export Control Order, or any comparable law.
• Unlawful targeting. Surveillance, profiling, or harassment of identified individuals without lawful basis.
• Identifiable patient data. Submitting identifiable patient information you do not have explicit authority to process.
• Scraping & abuse. Automated extraction or systematic redistribution of BINTEX outputs; circumventing rate limits; sharing credentials; reselling access without our written permission.
• Competing AI training. Using BINTEX outputs to train or fine-tune a competing AI system or model.
• Fraud, malware, impersonation, infringement. Anything illegal under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy and report violations to relevant authorities where appropriate.

Your content. You retain ownership of the queries you submit, the files and URLs you attach, and the documents you create in /write ("Your Content").

License to us. You grant BINTEX a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process Your Content as necessary to operate the Service for you — including transmitting query text to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, subject to backups and our retention schedule.

Outputs. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the reports BINTEX generates for you ("Outputs") for your own research, internal publications, and academic work. You are responsible for independently verifying Outputs (see Section 07).

Citation. When BINTEX's contribution to a published work is material, we appreciate (but do not require) an acknowledgement such as "Research accelerated by BINTEX" — useful for scientific transparency about AI-assisted methodology.

Our IP. The Service itself — the software, interface, design, brand, models, prompts, agentic workflows — is owned by BINTEX or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.

Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on BINTEX infringes your copyright, send a notice including the works, the infringing material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you're authorized to act, to ahmad@bintex.life.

BINTEX uses large language models. Outputs are generated by AI and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong — including, on occasion, citations that do not exist or that misrepresent their source. Citation accuracy is a known limitation of language models even when they appear confident.

You must independently verify any citation, claim, or recommendation before acting on it. BINTEX Outputs are an aid to your judgment, not a substitute for it.

Not medical or professional advice. Outputs are for research purposes only and are not medical, clinical, diagnostic, regulatory, legal, investment, or other professional advice. Do not use Outputs as the sole basis for any decision that could affect patient care, regulatory compliance, financial outcomes, or other matters with material consequences. Decisions in those domains must be made by appropriately qualified, licensed humans.

No reliance. Use of Outputs is at your own risk. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any Output.

The Service includes a public-share feature. If you generate a public share link for any of your sessions:

• You grant BINTEX the right to host that Content publicly under the share URL.
• You confirm that the shared Content contains no identifiable third-party personal data you lack authority to publish.
• You understand that anyone with the URL may view the share, and that we record analytics about views (per the Privacy Policy).
• You may revoke a share at any time, after which the URL stops serving the Content. We may also revoke shares that we determine, in our reasonable judgment, violate these Terms.

The Service depends on third-party providers (listed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' acceptable-use policies as they pertain to the content you submit (notably the policies of Microsoft Azure OpenAI and Cohere, which prohibit certain categories of content regardless of our Terms).

We are not responsible for outages or behavior of third-party providers and may need to suspend features that depend on a provider experiencing issues.

By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from settings. Cancellation of a paid subscription does not delete your account or data unless you also delete the account.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms (especially Section 05), if your account creates legal or security risk for us, or if non-payment renders your account inactive.

Effect. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We'll provide a reasonable opportunity to export Your Content (usually 30 days) before deleting it, subject to our retention schedule and any legal hold. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (IP, AI disclaimer, liability, indemnification, governing law) survive.

The Service and all Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that Outputs are accurate or that citations are real.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties. Where you have non-waivable rights as a consumer (for example, under UK or EU consumer law), those rights are unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BINTEX, its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Carve-outs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — for example, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or, in the EU/UK consumer context, death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

You acknowledge that the Service is provided at the prices set because of these limitations, and that they are a fundamental basis of the bargain between us.

You agree to indemnify and hold BINTEX harmless from any claim, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) Your Content; (b) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms (especially Section 05); (c) your violation of applicable law; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Bintex Laboratory is established, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK or EU, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply to you and nothing in these Terms deprives you of them.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at ahmad@bintex.life so we have a chance to resolve the dispute.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
