Keep questioning. We’ll follow the evidence.

Keep questioning. We’ll follow the evidence.

A question rarely ends with one answer. BINTEX follows it through the literature to find what supports it, what challenges it, and what is still unknown. It then keeps that evidence connected as you write.

01The problem

How do you research a question today?

You turn your question into keywords, search one database after another, open papers, read abstracts, and decide which sources are worth your time. If your university provides journal access, you move between different platforms to retrieve the full papers. Then you organize what you found, compare the evidence, manage the citations, and begin writing.

BINTEX starts with the question. It breaks it down, searches across available research sources, and shows you what each paper contributes before you decide where to go deeper. It then brings the relevant evidence together, including what supports the answer, what challenges it, and what remains uncertain. It keeps that evidence connected as you write.

02The product

Ask the question. Keep the trail.

BINTEX breaks a question into parts, searches the relevant sources, keeps supporting and conflicting evidence attached to the claims, and carries the research into writing. You can see not only what the answer says, but how it got there.

01

Decompose

Turn a broad question into researchable sub-questions and an explicit plan.

02

Discover

Search available scholarly sources, attached documents, and the current web.

03

Map evidence

Keep supporting findings, conflicting findings, caveats, and sources connected.

04

Check

Run citation checks and surface claims that need stronger support or closer review.

05

Continue writing

Move from an inspectable report into structured, source-backed writing.

03Initial market

Beachhead

Postgraduate and early-career researchers.

People producing literature reviews, thesis sections, evidence briefs, proposals, and other source-backed writing.

Expansion

Research teams and institutions.

Labs, departments, libraries, and research-intensive teams that need shared, reviewable evidence workflows.

Core job

Produce work another person can inspect.

The initial wedge is not every kind of search. It is serious work where the evidence trail matters after the answer is generated.

04Business model

Start with individual researchers. Learn before selling to institutions.

Free$05 runs / month
Pro$19 monthly100 runs + Deep Mode
Annual$190 yearlyIndividual Pro

Institutional pricing is intentionally not fixed yet. It will be shaped by pilot usage, administration needs, and shared-workflow demand.

05Competitive context

Researchers already have strong tools. BINTEX still has to earn its place.

KeeniousAcademic discovery from questions and passages
SciteFull-text search and citation context
ConsensusSearch and deeper reviews across peer-reviewed research
Scopus with AIResearch exploration over the curated Scopus corpus
ElicitStructured screening, extraction, and literature reviews
Gemini NotebookSource-grounded synthesis over user-provided material

Search, citations, full-text access, and synthesis are not unique on their own. BINTEX is testing whether continuity from question decomposition through evidence inspection and writing creates a workflow users repeatedly choose. That differentiation still has to be proven through retention and paid demand.

06Progress and next milestones

Live enough to learn. Early enough to change.

What exists today

A live end-to-end product, more than 150 early users, individual pricing, source-backed reports, saved research, exports, sharing, and an integrated writing workspace.

  1. 01Prove repeat usage on real literature reviews and evidence-backed writing.
  2. 02Validate willingness to pay among the initial researcher segment.
  3. 03Run small pilots with research groups, departments, or institutions.
  4. 04Publish reliability evaluations for claim support and citation integrity.
  5. 05Narrow the product around the workflow users return to most often.
07Founder

Ahmad Rufai Yusuf

Founder and engineer completing an MSEAI at Carnegie Mellon University. BINTEX began from his experience navigating evidence while exploring AI-enabled drug discovery, then expanded into a general research and writing workspace. He previously built MARMAR Health, which received $25,000 from Meta.

Capital plan

Targeting a $250K pre-seed after stronger validation.

The immediate priority is evidence: repeat usage, paid demand, institutional pilots, and measurable reliability. Capital would support product reliability, evaluations, user research, and the focused distribution work needed to establish the initial market.
